In May 2017 the first ever World Anti-Bullying Forum is organized. Behind the initiative are, among others, Friends International Center Against Bullying.
The forum with its’ interdisciplinary focus takes place in Stockholm and gathers researchers and practitioners from all over the world to discuss the topics bullying and discrimination. Besides inspiring lectures from leading experts in the field, the visitors can also participate in workshops. WABF 2017 wants to give school staff and researchers new perspectives and new knowledge on the issue of bullying, and at the same time the possibility to network. Behind the initiative are Friends International Center Against Bullying, IBPA, Linköping University and Örebro University.

Dorothy L. Espelage, Ph.D., is Professor in Psychology at University of Florida. She has received APA Lifetime Achievement Award in Prevention Science and 2016 APA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Research in Public Policy.
Dr. Donna Cross is Winthrop Professor at Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at University of Western Australia and Australian Telethon Kids Institute. Right now she leads nine 3 to 5-year research projects, all of which process methods to increase students’ mental health.
Dr. Sameer Hinduja, Professor at School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University and Co-Director at Cyberbullying Research Center. Internationally acknowledged for his groundbreaking research on cyberbullying and safe social networking.
